Have One To Sell? Sell Now Hawthorn Berries – About Hawthorn Plus: Hawthorn speaks to the human heart, and shares a botanical family with the best-known heart herb, Rose. The Rosaceae family also includes apples, almonds, raspberries, and plums. All of these foods deeply support the cardiovascular system. As an herb, Hawthorn is food-like in nature and rich in flavonoids, not unlike blueberries. And it can be included every day for someone looking for long-term, or short-term, support. Hawthorn supports heart muscle function, general circulation, and cognitive function.

This powerful blend of leaves, flowers and berries is prepared fresh from biodynamic trees that stand boldly and offer a warm, steady and open heart. Hawthorn Plus helps us when we feel weak, depressed, or anxious. Hawthorn energy encourages us to reflect on ourselves, our relationships with others and the larger landscape of life. It helps to calm and settle the emotional heart, reduce stress and anxiety, and makes it easier for us to engage in deep rest and recovery as needed.

Garden Notes: This special blend of Hawthorn flowers, leaves and berries are hand-picked on our farm. Having three parts of the plant together, even when fresh, makes this extract particularly effective and potent. A large Hawthorn grove of tall trees surrounds the sacred garden at our Biodynamic farm. In June, we hand-pick the bee-loving white roses and soak them immediately in organic alcohol. In October, with the help of long pruning poles, we collect baskets full of red hawthorn berries, which are immediately soaked in organic alcohol.
