Hello! Today I decided to share some of my favorite hawthorn berry recipes from the web (the original links are attached to each recipe). What is the reason? To begin, prepare the hawthorn berries by removing their stalks and rinsing them. Then pour into a pan and cover with vinegar and 300ml of water. Bring this solution to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes, until the berries change color and fall apart.

Next, strain the mixture through a fine sieve or muslin cloth and return it to the pan. Add the sugar and heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves, then bring to a boil. Again, boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from heat and pour into your bottle.

Your ketchup should last up to 1 year sealed and stored properly in a cool, dark place. But, it should be kept in the refrigerator after opening.
