I won’t pretend to have all the answers, but in my experience and based on the research I’ve read, the above pods soak well, while other types of nuts and seeds do not. For example, flax seeds form a mucilaginous goo in water, and Brazil nuts don’t always soak well because of their high fat content. Peanuts can also be soaked, but I don’t include them as they are inflammatory and allergenic and should be eaten sparingly.
